Motorola DROID vs. HTC Thunder 3

Introduction: a blow for a good fight, Verizons lineup is stacked to the shade with some quality Android smartphones, covering every bit of the spectrum – so in power or speed of data processing, to worry about most, you are fully covered. Of course, have the HTC Thunder Wave Riding success that the airline from the first 4 G LTE is enabled at the smartphone, but nothing relevant technology, the status of top level split would, of course, the residual energy over time. With this knowledge, the Motorola DROID 2 coming from out of the shadows to take back to the spotlight and shine this favorite DROID original line again. Who is going to be on top this?

Design:

On the surface seem to be two quite similar to conventional slate look – even if the DROID 3 receives landscape QWERTY sliding form factor. Frankly, the industrial designs don't come as dramatically different from cultivation, but Thunder is significantly better to hold in your hand, rounded corners and curved edges. At the same time Enjoy the safe metal such as intestines filled with plenty of soft-touch coated rears, allowing them to appear to be fairly clean at all times. The total size is nearly identical, but it is impressive to find DROID 3 sporting actually thinner than 0.5 thick box – especially when packing in this spacious landscape keyboard. However, there is no consensus that manages to capture our attention, since we are using the same solid construction and design cookie cutter.

Just so the DROID 3 display exhibits more details thanks 4 Show qHD (540 x 960), resulting in a higher pixel density of the criticized 4.3 "LCD Super WVGA (480 x 800) table. We accept, however, of the sharp detail, which allows the fine text visible above the eye. However, we prefer ivory color production, since they are able to pump the most vibrant colors tonnes between two. With just a smidgen more it is obvious that the DROID 3 total Luminosity output is stronger – even though we still find ourselves to Armor two devices outdoors in the Sun around.
The Lip is subtly graspable not accidentally pressing issues the usual set of Android capacitive buttons on DROID 3. On the other hand, we still do so with the Lightning since they are placed (are) positioned close to the edge.

Overall, DROID 3 uses power prominent key and the volume rocker – but we are not fans of erwtimatologia your answer. Instead he criticized physical buttons is fairly flat in stature, but at least produce a better tactile feeling when pressed.

Still more prominent among the top-end smartphones, we find the Motorola DROID (3) of the microHDMI port is particularly gratifying to see that allows for quick and easy sharing of multimedia content – not to mention offering to ever so useful experience in the image. Unfortunately missing Lightning a specific item of illuminating the entire clock is charming. Maybe next time?

Some similarities between the two include cameras facing front for conversation and taking portraits of themselves flying, microUSB charging and data ports for connectivity, microSD card slot and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Fans photo will undoubtedly suffer, that the two smartphones feature 8-megapixel Auto-focus cameras in the rear. Lightning complement things with a dual-LED flash, unlike the one about DROID 3. Provocative, both phones deliver their own unique characteristics to differentiate them from each other. Specifically, text messengers adore really spacious and absolutely useful physical keyboard of the Motorola DROID (3). And, in fact, even we stop not throw Motorola with love for the raffinering view virtual keyboard! At the same time, HTC Thunder enchants people of film using reversal to stand – give us this experience hands-free while watching some of our favorite animations. Verify that you can preserve the Thunderbolt, but to see that the DROID has 3 some sharp edges, we are in a position to fail in the upright position on the page. Motorola DROID (3) 360-degree view:

LG revolution vs HTC Thunder

Getting Started:

During our recent Verizon 4 G LTE smartphone comparison considering Samsung free Droid vs. HTC Lightning, but this time we will compare some similarities and differences between HTC and revolution of Thunder was released recently both many LG to offer its customers includes a fast 1 GHz processor, big screen and 4 G data speeds.

Design:

Both LG and HTC Thunder revolution has a candy-bar form factor, it is quite large and bulky to hold and weighed 6.06 oz and 4.59 oz full respect. They are made of plastic and feels reasonably sturdy, although the revolution is black with chrome accents on the left and right side, and the Lightning has a two-tone charcoal gray. We like to see two devices use soft-touch coating on the back, which help to give a nice grip when holding it. Neither is in any case, all that impressive phone display.

Although LG and HTC revolution feature Lightning 4.3 WVGA resolution TFT display "in front, is noticeably lighter, allowing it to be seen more when used outside of the Sun, the one about the revolution and the colors are more saturated, even though this is not yet as strong as the Super AMOLED display plus Samsung charging Droid.
Two handsets feature almost exactly the same thing of doors and sensors, including the 1.3 MP cam front, proximity and light sensors, capacitive multimedia keys, four seats on 3,5 mm and microUSB port. Only notable difference here is that the revolution LG also has an HDMI-out. LG revolution 360-degree view:

Apple IPhone vs HTC Thunder 4

Getting Started:

Two of the newest smartphones to hit Verizon Wireless this year HTC Thunder and Apple iPhone 4. Both have a lot to offer its customers, such as Thunder is the first 4 G LTE smartphone, which also benefit from Android user definable nature and iPhone 4 contains a world quality apps and a deep grained software experience. We have used two units for a long time now, so we would like to show you how they are performing next to each other in certain key areas. So let us include it in!

Design:

On the overall design and appearance, HTC and Apple iPhone compare 4 lyn literally apples with pears. Lightning looks like a "big boy phone as it is to a large extent, as it is weight of 6.23 oz, even though it is made of plastic, it feels solid and stable overall. IPhone 4 is in the meantime, more compact and easier to maintain, and not feel so heavy, also. It also has a more sophisticated look, with solid piece back and forth and metal Trim on both sides. But what we want on Lightning use soft-touch coating on the back, which does not show fingerprints as glass behind the iPhone 4 – as this is a trade off. Between two non iPhone appearance better overall, but Thunder still good, as it is too large to fit in your hands.

Lightning is the main reason for a large part, because the beefier than I originally 4.3 480 x 800 pixel resolution touchscreen display, while the iPhone 4 uses a smaller display 3.5 ", but the pixel density is much higher due to 640 x 960 pixels. We love both … really. Larger screen on Thunder is quite good, images and text look sharp and great video also appear. When we show the same content for the iPhone 4 to be able to see a little clearer (due to higher number of pixels) and the colors seem more natural, but you are limited to a much smaller screen. One thing that we noticed when use telephones outside of a sunny day was there on the screen about Lightning appears almost blacked-out (even if we turned the brightness lighting all the way up), while the screen on the iPhone 4 can be seen more.
You probably already have the iPhone 4 only isolate one physical button on the front page, you return to the home screen while the Thunder has 4 touch-sensitive buttons at the bottom of the home, menu, back, and search. It is convenient, as you could in your e-mail Inbox, just click the Browse button and type in a search to run. However, the Lightning could buttons on the page have planned better, because the power button/Lock is rather small and is flush with the surrounding plastic and volume rocker is a track and you are sure, where you can press. For comparison, the iPhone has 4 separate volume buttons are nice and feels "click" when the button is pressed, as the supreme power/lock. Both devices come with a standard headphone jack 3,5 mm top, but for charging and PC connectivity, iPhone 4 uses Apple's proprietary 30-pin connector while the Thunder uses the most common microUSB connection, which is a plus. HTC Thunder review

Introduction: When we have learned in early 2007, Verizon should be updated to 4 G LTE network, you are considering which smartphone would be the first to use it. Now it is here: HTC Thunder. There is no doubt that Thunderbolt is advertized as a unit must have fast data speeds with the Internet, a 4.3 "screen and a 1 GHz processor games in the Slacker. premature at this time. people will not wait around another 4 G smartphones, such as dual-core BIONIKeS Motorola DROID, LG revolution or the (unnamed) Samsung 4 G LTE smartphone with Super AMOLED screen plus. But there are already some devices 4 G out of other carriers, so let's see if lightning was worth the wait, as we dive into it.

Included in retail box is HTC phone, 1400mAh battery Lightning ADR6400, SanDisk 32 GB microSDHC class 4 memory card pre-installed wall charger, microUSB cable with detachable and user manuals.

Design:

HTC overall design is pleasant and criticized, but this is not groundbreaking in any way, which seems to be a collapse of other HTC phones such as inspire 4 G EVO 4 G, and if we like it black and graphite graysused abroad. The phone is made of plastic, but it feels very robust, and has a notable weight come to oz 6.23, makes it even more important than the metal 5.47 oz DROID x. also criticized has a generous size and feel very "width" when bedriftsÄ people with smaller hands may not be as familiar with it When we put your phone ... in our pocket pants, could feel it there, and after walking some, weight began to get annoying.

You can compare HTC Thunder with many other phones using our visualization tool size.

We are glad to see that HTC amplified a 4.3 "WVGA capacitive display on the Thunderbolt, where the incredible Droid by HTC last year was limited to a smaller 3.7". If and thus give up AMOLED screen to a standard TFT. One thing that we noticed (which we had to compare 2 ThunderBolts) was that one of them better-looking skin, more saturated colors and lifelike with good contrast, while the second Thunder colors was a bit more "fuzzy" seemed more gray and white. We examined the same pictures, videos and Web pages for each and could clearly see a difference. This means, not the 2nd drive view is defective, as this could be to a different drive or not calibrated correctly, just that there are differences, as we have seen here. By way of derogation from this is the one thing that is indifferent about that you hardly can read the screen while out of sunlight, as it is dark and difficult to see, even when the backlight is turned up. by comparison, Motorola DROID X a bit easier to see in the light of the Sun.
HTC Thunder comes with touch-sensitive standard buttons at the bottom, which will take you to the home screen, menu, back, and searching. Until it is over the speaker angle with a hidden status LED will Flash green, when you receive a new message, and switch between red and green while charging, and on the opposite side is a 1 .3MP camera to self. portraits, and (finally) for video chat via Skype. Along the microUSB port pages jack, volume rocker, lock and key energy/3.5 mm headphone Although volume rocker is large and protrudes from the surrounding plastic, press the power/Lock (used most often) small and is flush with the surrounding environment, making it more difficult to find by touch alone. The back is 8MP autofocus camera with Flash, dual LED Flash and a stand which comes in handy when you watch the video, although I do not want to cover over the rear speaker when closed. Remove the lid of the battery can be quite difficult, but will reveal the hidden slot for SIM card, Verizon 4 G and microSDHC memory card slot. One thing is missing from the Thunder is a HDMI output, but supports DLNA streaming Wi-Fi compatible products.
