KYOCERA Echo review

Getting Started:

It was slightly since we saw a truly unique product, in particular of the material. Seek to establish as a real player in the game, introduced Kyocera Sanyo-nee, the first Echo phone two monitors in the world. Echo packets a few 3.5 "view of each other, and then" flips "open and puts them together to create a mini tablet 4.7". This device is Android 2.2 sport some advanced specifications such as a 1 GHz processor with 1 GB gen ROME and some dubious, as does 4 G or front in front of the camera.  As the first, of course, its friendly you intend to pay tax on an early adapter Kyocera Echo, but how hard is this worth?

Included in the Echo Kyocera has included a microSD card, 8 GB and microUSB charging data cable to the AC adapter and a backup battery and charging pod which can double as a charger on the road.

Design:

So, how exactly do? How to transform the Echo (bet they wish they had turned to a Samsung) from a single 3.5-inch 480 x 800 display a dual monitor with 800 x 960? It is actually quite slick. There is a correlation between the spring sitting two screens, when it is closed, but when opened, will deliver a shift back to the Show on the rest, which is then click crop on second place showing.  It is easier to see from the illustration, so check out our video in action.

At a time with black plates are Kyocera Echo a refreshing change … but still a black plate. Glossy black front of the flashy chrome accents, and behind is a very plasticy flat black with a soft touch ever so little coat.  Can be a slippery to hold, but fortunately for safety's sake, there is much to keep. Clocks in at a rather portly Echo 17.2 mm thick thanks to the second instance.

You can compare Kyocera Echo many other phones using our visualization tool size.

If you love Sanyo devices by Echo will feel right at home and on the facts, which reminds us of the M1. Click on the link is back (aarg!), aesthetic is very behind the times and there is a very plastic feeling for Echo. It is said, is the quality of the design relatively well so far. It would be interesting to see how the minute League holds over time, but at least now there is no play in this.  Anticipate user errors issues because the second appearance is instinctively click the space next to the secondary, leaving it soft and prone to rotated losses may also incorrectly used similar to HTC arrives, with the main screen is tilted up like a laptop computer.

A screen 480 x 800 screen 3.5 "leads to very sharp analysis and 980 x 800 across 4.7" and is very nice. Shows mixed seamlessly, on the other hand, there is a black stripe caused by locks, reminiscent of an online super State TV wall around 1995. You do not have time to overcome this, and the value of such a large screen will be visible when browsing the Internet. Displays the tend to wash out in direct sunlight, but with higher brightness is useful. The colors are still slightly warm, but not as marked as it was silence. It seems sometimes that the main screen is a little colder than secondary, but you have stared, not so long and still can reach a conclusion, so if there is a difference is very thin.

Each monitor has a menu and at home, Enter below, but only one active at a time (the main screen when closed, secondary when open) appreciates the capacitive buttons, but lacks the search option and want to feel that the icons on the secondary monitor is rotated 90 °.
On the left side of the Echo-Kyocera is super busy. From top to bottom, we find: 3.5 mm jack for headphones, microSD slot, deck the power button, volume rocker, which is too small, a microUSB port is covered and, finally, lanyard hole. On the right side of the phone is a part of the hinge mechanism, therefore, cannot be used, but it would be nice to see some of them are offloaded to the top or bottom of the phone, which is quite barren.  On the back of the 5MP camera and Echo home LED flash (housed in the flashy Silver trim) and buzz of a single speaker, is there anything weak on the front of the media, but great as a speakerphone.

Link is a very cool mechanism that achieves something the manufacturer has ever done before, but overall we are very impressed with the design of Echo. It is very close, thanks to the second view, but instead in order to minimise, with nets with declining extreme hard dimension lines stuck in Kyocera.  The view is very beautiful to see, but the rest of the phone reminds us of a bad knockoff, you find in Chinatown.  KYOCERA may have proved to be innovative, but there is a law, says cannot be smart as well as?
